Yeah...I couldn't think of a better name than Holder Folder. ; ) Are you looking for an alternative to baggies or rings for your kiddo's flashcards, letter tiles, etc.? I have attempted to take pictures of each step to make these "Holder Folders." : ) If you like these, you could get a head start on making them before school is back in session.
Start with a 2 pocket folder (without fasteners). |
Cut the seam and stop right where the pockets start. |
Fold the top of the folder so your crease is at the top of the pockets. Do this to each side. |
Cut the excess off (the tops). |
I like to trim the corners so it is easy for the kids to open the flaps. |
I also like to add velcro dots to the flaps so they stay shut and little pieces don't get lost. |
Jazz up the front with a name tag, stickers, etc. You could also add a velcro dot inside so the whole thing stays shut. Enjoy! |
