Easy Holder Folders

Yeah...I couldn't think of a better name than Holder Folder.  ; )  Are you looking for an alternative to baggies or rings for your kiddo's flashcards, letter tiles, etc.?  I have attempted to take pictures of each step to make these "Holder Folders."  : )  If you like these, you could get a head start on making them before school is back in session.

Start with a 2 pocket folder (without fasteners).

Cut the seam and stop right where the pockets start.

Fold the top of the folder so your crease is at the top of the pockets.  Do this to each side.

Cut the excess off (the tops).

I like to trim the corners so it is easy for the kids to open the flaps.

I also like to add velcro dots to the flaps so they stay shut and little pieces don't get lost.

Jazz up the front with a name tag, stickers, etc.  You could also add a velcro dot inside so the whole thing stays shut. Enjoy!

Great Idea! I can imagine using this for many things... it could also be their wallet if you do a classroom economy behavior plan. Thanks for sharing!
