Must-Have Resource for Readers Workshop

Do you teach using Readers Workshop in your classroom?
You have to get your hands on this book:

First Grade Readers by Stephanie Parsons.  The foreword is by the one and only Kathy Collins, author of Growing Readers.  It is a fast read and actually fun to read!  : )  I discovered it when I was participating in Teacher Lab in my district.  Click HERE to read more about Teacher Lab.

Hi Jaime,
I just purchased the book based on your recommendation. Actually, I'm a sucker for professional books. I have Growing Readers and really like it and I just bought First Grade Writers (haven't read it yet) so figured this must be good, too. Always looking to improve -- ha ha.
Check out my site for a great math book.
Have a good one!

Love that book! I just finished re-reading it to refresh myself for this year! This book along with Sharon Taberski's On Solid Ground are the only books I plan to use this year during Reading Workshop.
